Contacts Backup

Prerequisites
To perform Contacts backup, make sure Contacts backup is enabled for you and your users in case of you are using the business product edition. You should have a valid subscription, which should include all additional users you want to backup a contacts for.

Getting Started with Contacts Backup
To enable Contacts backup, click Configure Backup on the dashboard and turn on Contacts backup services. Select Apply to enabled users to create Contacts backup for all enabled users.
To create the initial backup, click Save. You can monitor the backup task processing using Task Manager
Once the initial backup is completed, you can view a list of the backed up content.
The list of backed-up contacts is on the left panel. To view the required contact, select it. Click the info button to see the contact details in the pane to the right. You can export selected contacts or contact folders to PST file, as described in Export to PST chapter.
Back up Contacts
By default, Contacts backup is performed three times per day automatically. You can create an urgent backup job for all or selected contacts.
Create Backup Jobs
You can back up specific contacts or contact folders.
To back up only selected contacts, perform the following:
- Select required user.
- Select required contacts.
- Click the Run Backup button. You will be notified about the backup job creating event.
To view the progress of the created backup job, open the Task Manager.
Restore Contacts
To restore your contacts, select Contacts in the horizontal menu bar.
TThe following restore options are available:
To restore all contacts for the user click Restore All button. You will be notified about the restore job creating event.
To start the item-level restore, select required contact, then click Restore. You will be notified about the restore job creating event.
To start the folder-level restore, select required folder, then in the horizontal menu select Folder > Restore Folder. You will be notified about the restore job creating event.
You can monitor the restore task processing using the Task Manager.
Delete Contacts
To delete selected contacts, perform the following:
- Select required contacts.
- Click Delete.
- Provide your alternate email password to confirm the deletion.
Delete Folders
To delete selected contact folders, perform the following:
- Select the required folder to delete.
- In the horizontal menu select Folder > Delete Folder.
- Provide your alternate email password to confirm the deletion.
