Installation

Backup for macOS provides the command line interface (CLI) that covers the GUI functionality. CLI enables creating and managing backup and restore plans, editing global options, listing backup plans and accounts, etc.

The command line interface can be used to integrate the backup process into an industrial environment.

sudo installer -pkg "path to package" -target /
