Add Connections

To access backup data in cloud storage, configure the connection to the backup storage.

To avoid confusion, consider you cannot access contents of free MSP cloud storage associated with a trial account of MSP360 (CloudBerry) Backup. You can create connections only to the supported cloud storages and you will need the requested access key to configure the connection.

  1. Run MSP360 Explorer.
  2. Click (+) after the CONNECTIONS on the left pane.
  3. Name the connection and provide requested access keys.
  4. Provide the default path to the content (optional).

You can set the default path to open the necessary storage later. To add the default path, right-click the necessary object breadcrumb at the top of the pane and select the Copy path option. Right-click the connected cloud storage in the navigation pane, then select Edit. Paste the copied default path to the Default path field, then click OK.

Next time you start the product and click the connected cloud storage, it will be opened according to the specified default path to save your time.

  1. Click OK to save the connection. The created connection appears in the left pane of the MSP360 Explorer main Window in the Connections area. You can manage created connections.
